PROJECTS
Arde
Arde is a women-led collective dedicated to conceptualizing and creating archives. Since 2017, we have been developing a hybrid digital platform that serves both as an archive and a publishing space, working from different territories including Valdivia, Santiago, and Berlin.
An archive safeguards documents related to creative processes, research, and cultural practices. In addition, it provides a space for those who wish to share the backstage and journey of their projects, as well as their approaches to creating and generating knowledge. We offer open access to digitized documents within a free and public domain framework for research, education, and recreational purposes.
As a publishing space, we produce specialized content such as audiovisual clips, graphic materials, interviews, and texts that invite reflection on the arts, archives, and communities.
We foster collaborations with artists, researchers, activists, and organizations to create networks among those working with archives and memory from diverse contexts and geographies. We share tools, strategies, and archival methodologies so that more people and communities can initiate or strengthen their own archival projects.
